I think the issue of colorism was so clear and I enjoyed the different types of maji

I enjoyed reading this book. I’ll definitely read the other two books in the series.

Every death in this world made sense. Everyone who died, died when they were supposed to. A decent read.

I enjoyed the fantasy thoroughly. The magic, the love stories brewing, betrayal and the detailed description. I can see why it was made into a movie which I can't wait to watch.

I honestly enjoyed reading this book cause it was a fast read and it kept me on my toes.
